Our story
Inspired by faith, service, and the children in our community.
The Breakthrough Sports Foundation was inspired by our faith and the example of Jesus Christ, who taught us to love our neighbors, care for those in need, and serve others with compassion and generosity. His teachings remind us that every child has value, deserves encouragement, and should be given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
This calling, along with our years of coaching youth sports in Casa Grande, motivated us to take action. As coaches, Brian and Joe have met countless children who were eager to play but whose families could not afford registration fees or the necessary equipment. We have also witnessed the sacrifices parents make to provide opportunities for their children, often putting their own needs aside.
Observing talented young athletes miss opportunities due to financial hardship made it clear that change was needed. The Breakthrough Sports Foundation was created to serve as a bridge for these families, providing practical support while demonstrating compassion, encouragement, and hope. Our goal is to ensure that every child who wants to play has the opportunity to do so, regardless of their financial circumstances.
